The Director of Talent Solutions will lead OneSpartanburg, Inc.’s talent attraction, retention and development initiatives. The Director will position Spartanburg as an attractive place for employers by providing solutions and resources that strengthen our talent pool for current and future workforce needs. This position is responsible for implementing data-informed programming and marketing solutions that deliver talent to the business community.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Convene and lead the Talent Council to serve as the guiding force behind Spartanburg’s talent attraction, retention and development efforts
  • Align educators and employers to explore and develop long-term talent solutions
  • Communicate with employers to assess needs, and provide talent attraction and retention resources
  • Promote Spartanburg’s assets to prospective employers and potential talent
  • Market Spartanburg to attract boomerang and intraregional talent, as well as retain college graduates
  • Convene Spartanburg’s colleges, and engage its collegiates professionally and socially.
  • Increase internship opportunities to be filled by area college students.
  • Serve as primary liaison between OneSpartanburg, Inc. and talent implementation partners
  • Additional duties as assigned
